Continuing its Canadian tech acquisition spree, Deloitte Canada has announced that it is acquiring Montréal-based digital transformation consultancy Nubik for an undisclosed amount.

Nubik is the latest tech consulting firm that Deloitte’s Canadian division has acquired, following Deloitte’s acquisition of Kelowna technology testing and quality engineering firm Striven.
Founded in 2003, Nubik offers consulting services and implements multi-cloud Salesforce, FinancialForce, and Rootstock ERP solutions. Its core focus areas include manufacturing and distribution, high tech, professional services, and financial services. Nubik’s client base includes the likes of Accedian, Canada Tire, Boston Dynamics, and The Ottawa Hospital.
Fondaction CSN, an investment fund created by trade union federation Confédération des syndicats nationaux, invested an undisclosed amount of funding into Nubik in 2015.
In 2018, Nubik acquired Idle Tools, an American IT consulting firm that focuses on customer relationship management solutions.
According to Deloitte Canada, Nubik’s team of more than 100 people will be joining Deloitte’s consulting practice in offices across North America, including Canada.
For its Canadian division, Deloitte’s consulting practice focuses on innovation and transformation to help its clients gain access to digital solutions.
Joining Deloitte Canada as new partners are Camil Bourbeau, former chief commercial officer at Nubik, and Alexandre Boyer, former chief operations officer. Alongside the partners will be new directors Dany Jacques, former vice president of sales; as well as Elie Rodrigue, co-founder and former chief technology officer of Nubik. Katie Bussières, former president at Nubik, will also join Deloitte.
Anthony Viel, CEO of Deloitte Canada, said that Nubik’s multi-cloud relationships, especially with Salesforce, will “greatly improve” Deloitte’s ability to manage the volume and scope of work that “the mid-market in Canada is demanding.”

In addition to Nubik and Striven, Deloitte Canada has also acquired Canadian companies MDB Insight Inc., Ouest Business Solutions, Dataperformers Company Inc., Clockwork Inc., Groundswell Group Inc., The Working Group Inc., and Isaac Reputation Group Inc.
